Change for a Change

Simple changes in behavior make significant changes in life. This is true in all aspects of life. When one makes small change in their diet or begins a regular exercise program, they see a vast difference in their overall health and energy level.

A couple of months ago, Br. Haji Massoud gave a very simple idea: empty the change in our pockets before stepping out of our homes. He suggested setting aside a “change-jar” to collect the change. If we drop at least one dollar a day into the jar, we’d be surprised at the result. There will be at least $365 at the end of the year. If you multiply this by the number of families in our community, soon, there would be a significant sum of money in our bank.

This could be a family project involving everyone in the family to participate. Remember, small change from us will make a significant change in our community.
