Assalaamu ‘Alaikum. Insha’All-h we hope you all are in a high level of Imam.Summer is finally here. How are you planning on spending your summer break? I hope you are catching up on your reading and are learning new things every day. Summer is also a very busy time for gardening, traveling, family picnics, etc. If you are planning on taking a vacation, please plan your trip wisely; make it economical in time and cost. With gas prices so high, make sure your tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. Change air and oil filters regularly. Please stay within the posted speed limits. Have a safe trip.
Monthly Commitment
In the May newsletter there was a reminder about the pledges and automatic deposits we agreed to pay each month. We need everyone’s help to defray the cost of operating the center. Only a few folks have met their annual pledge this year. Please remember that it takes everybody’s financial commitment and generosity to run the center. Here is an average monthly amount needed to pay our bills:

Please make a commitment to donate whatever you are able to each month. If each family could give between $50 and $100 a month, we may Insha’All-h meet our minimum monthly expenses. We need additional commitment from those of us who are financially more able to help. Your extra generosity will help to support other activities including sponsoring outside speakers and the expenses relating to Sunday school. Sponsors Needed
We need sponsors for two projects planned for this summer. These include replacing two air conditioning units for our center. One of the units is old and inefficient and needs to be replaced soon. The other unit was stolen last year and has not yet been replaced. The total cost of these units plus labor is approximately $5,500. The other project is to build a storage shed to park our lawn mower and landscaping tools. It is cumbersome to transport the mower each time we need our lawn mowed. The approximate cost of material is $1,250. We plan to do the construction ourselves. You may sponsor the entire project or pay a portion of the cost. Please call 913-901-7613 today.
