Brother and Sisters, Asalamalaikum,
First I want to thank all the volunteers for their efforts in arranging the fundraiser dinner. It was a well organized and well executed program.
Second I want to bring your attention to Muharram majalis. We have identified the need of following committees in order to manage Muharram majalis smoothly. These committees include Food, Parking, Cleaning, and General arrangement. We need volunteers and want community members to participate so we all can share the responsibilities.
We are having a meeting on Thursday December 13th after Dua-e-Kumail around 8:30 PM for those interested to volunteer. Hopefully you can come for the meeting but if you could not make it, forward your name for any of the committees to me or any board member. We not only need your participation as volunteers but will also appreciate your suggestion or ideas. Note if weather is not good we will cancel the meeting.
