Eid Mubarak to all. Thanks to the Jafari family for the wonderful and inspiring Eid khutba. The salaat was well attended and the after-Eid refreshments were delicious. May Allah (swt) bless this wonderful community and shower His kindness on each and every one. Yesterday was a blessed day. The community gathered and enjoyed a warm and beautiful Eid Carnival. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time. Special thanks to all the community members who participated in the cooking, cleaning, preparing, and selling of the food to make this a successful event. The sale of tickets and donations totaled approximately $780. All the items except for the rental of Moonwalk were donated by the members of our community. May Allah (swt) reward their generosity and increase their imaan.
The Board of Trustees would like to extend its thanks to Sanah Shabbir for successfully organizing and completing the long-awaited parking lot striping. Special thanks to Brother Shadman, Sister Mahnoor, and Sheru for helping Sanah accomplish such a wonderful task. Others who were also a part of this accomplishment include Brs. Raza Ali, Hussain Mirza, and Marghoob Abbas. May Allah (swt) increase their imaan manifold and reward them for their contribution. The parking lot is immensely more appealing and, of course, will be more organized and efficient during Muharram and other events. This is what makes a community so vibrant and productive and we hope there will be other families who would take part in making this center an even greater place to come to, Insha’Allah.
