Election for the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees election planned for November 10th 2012 has been cancelled. Br. Mahmood Reza Kamyab and Br. Mostafa Jafari have successfully retained their position in the Az-Zahra Board of Trustees as uncontested candidates for the 2013-2015 term.

As-salaamu ‘Alaikum.
The election of board of trustees will be held on Saturday November 10th 2012. There will be two seats up for election for the 2013-2015 term. If you are interested in contesting for one of these positions, please complete the attached form and mail it to the center. The deadline for receiving the form at the center is November 3rd, 2012.

General Body Meeting

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As-salaamu ‘Alaikum.
The annual Az-Zahra General Body meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 28th, from 2 pm until 4 pm. It is open to all members of the center. If you are currently not a paid member, please complete the membership form attached below.
The Annual General Body meeting is one of the most vital forum for the community to voice their concerns and to make their voices heard. Az-Zahra Center comprises of each one of us. Without active participation and involvement, the center will not be able to do all the things we wish it to do. If you have any idea that may help Az-Zahra Center be a better or more vibrant community, then you MUST share the idea or ideas with all the members. It is the responsibility of each and every one in our community to make this center a place where we WANT to go and not where we HAVE to go. The current board of trustees want bold and fresh ideas to make this coming year an exciting year and make this center a magnet for our youth to meet. Please do not consider any idea or suggestion too small or unimportant. We look forward to your participation.
